Indore: Girl students receive tips on good touch, bad touch

In order to build confidence and raise awareness, the girl students were informed about good touch and bad touch. They were also informed about importance of hygiene.  They received the tips at a health, hygiene and safety awareness camp organised by Airport Authority of India for girl students at Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Musakhedi on Friday.


The camp was organised under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by AAI, where inner wears were distributed to students free of cost by Aryama Sanyal, director Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport, Indore. Addressing students, she called upon them to have big objectives in life and observe discipline in studies.


Gynaecologist Dr Mamta from CHL Hospital shed light on importance of using sanitary pads. Dr Mamata also briefed them about understanding good touch and bad touch. Later, she met each student in classroom-turned-chamber individually to listen to their problems.


Earlier, Channi Jain from NGO Mrityunjai addressed the girl students. She spoke on water conservation. The AAI Indore had donated two sanitary vending machines earlier along with incinerator. A maid was also recruited to help provide sanitary pads to girl students at marginal price of Rs 2.
